Promises on Prayer and Intercession
One thing I have asked from the Lord,
that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all
the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord And to meditate
in His temple. PSALMS 27.4

open to their cry. PSALMS 34.15
The righteous cry, and the Lord hears And delivers them out of
all their troubles. PSALMS 34.17
. . . Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you,
and you will honor Me. PSALMS 50.15b
For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in
lovingkindness to all who call upon You. PSALMS 86.5

his prayer is an abomination. PROVERBS 28.9
Then your light will break out like the dawn, And your recovery
will speedily spring forth; And your righteousness will go before
you; The glory of the Lord will be your rear guard. Then you will
call, and the Lord will answer; You will cry, and He will say,
'Here I am.' ISAIAH 58.8,9a
It will also come to pass that before they call, I will answer;
and while they are still speaking, I will respond. ISAIAH 65.24

listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search
for Me with all your heart. JEREMIAH 29.12,13

and mighty things, which you do not know. JEREMIAH 33.3
Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find;
knock, and it shall be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives,
and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened.
MATTHEW 7.7,8
And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.
MATTHEW 21.22
"Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation;
the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." MATTHEW 26.41
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you
wish, and it shall be done for you. JOHN 15.7
You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that
you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain,
that whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give to
you. JOHN 15.16
Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes,
rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also
intercedes for us. ROMANS 8.34
With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit,
and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and
petition for all the saints. EPHESIANS 6.18
Stop worrying about anything, but in everything by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known
to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. PHILIPPIANS
4.6,7
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude
of thanksgiving; COLOSSIANS 4.2
Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks; for this is
God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 THESSALONIANS 5.17,18
. . . I [Paul] urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and
thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all
who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet
life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable
in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved
and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 TIMOTHY 2.1b-4
Now she who is a widow indeed and who has been left alone, has
fixed her hope on God and continues in entreaties and prayers
night and day. 1 TIMOTHY 5.5
Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace,
so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of
need. HEBREWS 4.16
Hence, also, He [Christ] is able to save forever those who draw
near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession
for them. HEBREWS 7.25
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives
to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to
him. JAMES 1.5
. . . You do not have because you do not ask . You ask and do
not receive, because you ask for yourselves with wrong motives,
so that you may squander it on your lust pattern. JAMES 4.2b,3
. . . The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish
much. JAMES 5.16b
For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears
attend to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those
who do evil. 1 PETER 3.12
This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we
ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know
that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the
requests which we have asked from Him. 1 JOHN 5.14,15
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in
good health, just as your soul prospers. 3 JOHN 2
